So long and Thanks for all the fish! |
It's that time again... time to roll up the cat5e cables, fold up the tables, mothball the servers, and say goodbye to old friends and new friends. I'd like to personally thank each and everyone who came to the event and made it an awesome LANparty. I'd especially like to thank Irene, our dear In Win friend, who made this all happen. She did such an incredible job that I am left in awe and speechless. Words can not express the time and effort she put into this event so I'll just direct you to the pictures (coming soon) and please, if you have pictures and video you'd like to share, put a link in the forums. Also, I'd like to thank all the In Win staff and friends (Christian, Joseph, Anita, Jack, Vincent, Ray, Deric, Brian, Andy, James, Ifan, Paul, Roland, and Cindy) that did everything from putting up posters, to registration, to keeping things clean and orderly, to tearing down and sweeping the floor and that's just during the event. We would also like to thank all the sponsors for their so totally beyond generous donations to our truly epic swag mountain. In no particular order, Futuremark, Valve, Hannspree, Gigabyte, Kingston, CybePower, PowerColor, Asus, Roaring Lion, Intel, EVGA, CPU Magazine, and of course In Win again truly delivered beyond my wildest expectations. I'd like to thank you all again and especially all the volunteers for making this the most incredible weekend. Peace out and see ya'll at 2.0! |

Tournament Sign Up's - UP! |
I kinda got the tournament registration up and running now but if it falls apart bear with me... If you didn't notice, Sign-ups are in the Registration Drop Down Menu (below the Secure your Seat) Team Captains, you need to create a team and then get all your members on the team before you can register for the Tournament. Everyone else, hurry up and get on a team. Details of the Tournaments are subject to change (ie. I'm not responsible for 1am typo's or last minute changes or plain duh's...) |

You scratch our back, We will scratch yours. |
We are looking to get a rough count for pizza and drinks. We know you gamers like to live on the edge and wait til the last minute on things, raids, rebates, new game preorders, lan signups.... All attendees get 1 raffle ticket for the event; however, all attendees who signup and pay by NOVEMBER 30 will get 2 EXTRA raffle tickets at the event. Bask in the knowledge you saved $10 on admission and sit pretty in the swag sweepstakes. |
Admission includes Pizza and Water |
Just so ya'll know, we learned from the last event. Unlike in smaller LAN's where we'd all go grab some grub at the local all-you-can-stuff-in-your-pie-hole-in-the-wall, some of you from farther out may want to maximize your gaming time. So, the powers that be has decided to provide every paid admission with pizza dinner Saturday night and some water to wash it down. I believe sodas may become available as well but I don't have details yet. Something about Red vs Blue... Stay tuned! |
