no idea if the tournament list is final, but two fine games to be considered

i would imagine sc2 in particular would give some huge hype to lancryption even if it's in closed beta right now

Blizzard/Activision has not returned any replies on a tournament license. We have the tourney licenses for CS 1.6, CS:S, L4D2, TF2, BF: BC2, and Shattered Horizon. A tourney license does not seem like a necessity, but Lancryption has consistently made sure that every tournament that has appeared at the event, has some sort of 'blessing' from the distributor/publisher/developer.

Id Software hasn't given a response or a way to have an on-site server for QL. I believe that it's possible, and I've heard of rumors of such, but I don't have confirmation.

*ANY* FPS game for a tourney at the event will need to have an on-site dedicated server. No compromises. This is to ensure as much of the internet bandwidth is available for authentication (PB, Steam, server side, etc).
